Statements from Chinese Studies

Chinese Studies Policy on Discretionary Statements

Any core or affiliated faculty member of Chinese Studies may draft a statement. They shall send it to the Director of Chinese Studies. The Director shall circulate it to all core and affiliated faculty members and ask for comments within one week.  When revisions are final, the Director shall send it out again, asking for a yes/no vote within one week. If 75% of faculty members who vote agree, the statement shall be posted. It shall be taken down after three months, unless a second vote approves leaving it up. Those who do not vote do not count for or against the statement in either case.
