Information

Li Xu has experience teaching Mandarin Chinese as a second language at all levels. She received both her B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature and her M.A. in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Beijing Normal University in China. Before joining Chinese Studies at UC San Diego, she taught Chinese in the Department of Asian Studies at Cornell University.

She has also served as Head Instructor of Chinese language in Cornell University's CAPS (China and Asia-Pacific Studies) Program and FALCON (Full-Year Asian Language Concentration) Program at Peking University and as an instructor in the Princeton in Beijing Intensive Language Program.
